Our people remain our greatest asset, and we continue to invest in their development and well-being. This year, we launched the STAR learning and development platform, with over 6,000 completions since November 2023, providing colleagues with vital training on topics like diversity and inclusion, customer service, and leadership. We also welcomed 33 new apprentices and celebrated the achievements of nine completing their programs, reflecting our focus on building the workforce of the future.
Diversity and inclusion remain central to our culture. Through seven active D&I working groups and our recent signing of the Race at Work Charter, we are fostering a workplace where every voice is heard and valued. Initiatives like the SCC Academy further extend our impact, providing digital skills training to 446 individuals this year, 90% of whom came from diverse ethnic backgrounds.
Robust governance structures underpin our ESG efforts. Our ESG Committee, comprising members of our Executive Team and subject matter experts, continues to guide our strategy and initiatives. From modern slavery and supply chain ethics to environmental compliance, our governance framework ensures accountability and alignment with our long-term goals.
