University of West Scotland

UCS needed a high-performance AV infrastructure that could support always-on collaboration, deliver flawless reliability, and stay flexible enough to grow with tomorrow’s technology. The aim was to create spaces that actively encouraged engagement, supported 24/7 operations, and delivered the tech-enabled learning expected by digital-native students.

Solution

Spanning three purpose-built buildings, the campus features high-tech learning suites. At the heart of the deployment was a campus-wide AV over IP solution, delivering 4K connectivity across lecture theatres, boardrooms and flexible classrooms. A flagship 236-seat theatre, equipped with dual HD projection and real-time video conferencing, allows global guest lectures to be delivered with ease. Touchscreen control panels across all rooms make the tech intuitive for staff, while centralised AV management ensures uptime, visibility and responsiveness. From smart classroom reconfiguration to 24-screen digital signage, every space has been built to adapt, engage and scale.
