Collaboration and Voice: Nottingham County Council To help them improve customer communications and satisfaction, SCC provided NCC with a new MS Teams PBX solution that supports 8000 users, along with an omnichannel contact centre solution. This has enabled multi-channel communications for enquiries and contact into the council, reduced their costs, improved their average answer time, and offered additional contact methods on residents’ chosen social platforms.
Consultancy & Professional Services: The Co-Operative BankThe Co-Operative Bank wanted to modernise their workplace to enhance their processes, in a phased way that wouldn't overwhelm its customers. Through consultancy-led engagements, we designed a complete user journey around best-of-breed Microsoft 365 technology. We uplifted the desktop to a supported and maintained version of Windows, with a managed services wrap around end-user support. An M365 tenant creation delivered new ways of working, as well as improved user collaboration and additional security and compliance.
Persona & Device Selection: United Utilities
United Utilities wanted to reduce overheads and improve productivity by ensuring every user had the devices best suited to their individual needs. SCC provided a fleet of 6000 devices to a wide range of user personas that we helped to define, encompassing home, hybrid, office and field-based staff. SCC also provided, and continues to manage, the extensive field engineer mobile phone fleet. These are highly critical devices as the field engineers use these, in combination with their toughbooks, to determine their daily work schedule and manage critical infrastructure.
Device as a Service (DVaas): Guy’s And St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust
We refreshed and consolidated a multi-vendor estate of 13,142 end-user services into a single-vendor solution based around Windows 10. The SCC DVaaS solution enabled the Trust to spread the costs over five years, which meant the Trust could gain approval for replacement of its entire end-user computing estate within its available budget. To date, over 10,000 devices have been implemented under this arrangement.
Remote and Site Support: Ladbrokes/Coral
Ladbrokes/Coral needs rapid nationwide technical support across desktops, laptops, servers, print, infrastructure and retail equipment - but lack the capability to manage it in-house. Our partnership with Ladbrokes/Coral has run for over 20 years, and we provide support for all 2800 of their betting shops nationwide, providing a high level of service and fast technical response. This means supporting more than 150,000 devices across the UK, including POS equipment, end user devices, AV, and infrastructure.
Secure Digital Workplace: MBDA Missile Systems
To enable effective work and collaboration between 44000 employees, we have installed a range of solutions for MBDA, including an on-premise service desk, end-to-end device management and other related support services. We have also been able to flex our support to meet emerging IT demands for MBDA, such as supporting remote working through the pandemic and beyond.
