Organisations are being challenged to comply with government sustainability strategies as well as the increasing pressure from consumers to deliver their services more sustainability or face penalties, lose customers and market share. One avenue for carbon reduction is to utilise the latest in technology advancements, however with the current economic climate that is ever-changing and uncertain, many organisations are having to innovate on a limited budget.
At SCC we work to relieve the cost strain associated with staying ahead of competitors, by providing payment solutions which deliver flexibility and agility for technology purchases, allowing organisations to invest in new technology in a sustainable way and release the value from past investments.
We work with our financial institution and vendor partners to provide:
Anything ‘as a Service’
Value Release Service
Software Payment Agreement.
As technology becomes increasingly connected and IT estates more complex, finding the skills for short term IT projects, can often be difficult and expensive. SCC's Flex resourcing offers tailored made resourcing solutions to assist our customers in delivering critical business outcomes.
Utilising automation technology and our specialist staff, we can quickly find skilled resource to support our customers in the delivery of their short and long term goals.
Outcomes we enable:
Home Group were looking to build a new head office and they needed a completely new and comprehensive network solution. The office was planned to be an interactive hub where up to 700 colleagues could be working at any one time.
As the purpose of this head office was for people collaboration and networking, constant connectivity between floors was needed to support network teams, telephony, corporate applications etc.
With limited network skills within their internal IT department, they wanted a modern, cloud managed network which was simple and straightforward to manage. Due to this skills shortage the network in their previous head office was unmaintained causing the user experience of the Wi-Fi to be poor, as it didn’t always work and was very slow.
Home Group needed a partner to design, supply and install and provide a managed service provision.
Home Group engaged with SCC for the implementation of wired and wireless networking to support users at the new site. Home Group identified that a Cisco Meraki solution would provide the Enterprise class functionality required to support their business, whilst supporting a ‘lean IT’ approach due to its streamlined cloud-based management dashboard.
Prior to the implementation we preconfigured the Cisco Meraki equipment on to the dashboard and fully configured the access points. This meant once we were allowed onto site by the contractors all we needed to do was patch in Meraki through the cabling.
Following the building opening, we now manage and monitor their network and have read access to the Meraki dashboard so we can triage any networking issues. By building an open and collaborative relationship we have evolved our relationship with Home Group from being consultancy into a fully managed service contract.
We have received extremely positive user feedback and the network continues to be reliable and robust.
